Using Hitchpost

Hitchpost is free to download and use. By using it, you agree to these terms. The source licence (FSL-1.1-MIT) also lets you use, change and share the code for any purpose except selling a competing product.

Your account

Keep your sign-in email secure, and pick a username that isn't someone else's name or offensive. Don't use Hitchpost to harass anyone, including through nudges. We can remove a username or suspend an account that breaks these rules.

Blocking

Hitchpost hides and closes apps and sites while a block runs. You can always end a block: ⌃⌥⌘E on a Mac (Ctrl+Alt+Win+E on Windows), or End in the menu bar or tray. Save your work before starting a block, because closing an app can lose unsaved changes in it.

No guarantees

Hitchpost is provided as it is, without warranties. We work to keep it reliable, but we can't promise it will always block everything or never fail. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for lost work, missed deadlines or other indirect losses. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law.

Changes and ending

We may change these terms. If a change matters, the app and this page will say so first. You can stop using Hitchpost and delete your account at any time; see the privacy policy.
